Thanks
for visiting the Grand Lake Lodge website! At 8,769 feet, our main Lodge
overlooks Grand Lake, Shadow Mountain Reservoir, and the Middle Park Valley.
The Lodge is truly "Colorado's Favorite Front Porch." Relax, sit back,
and take in the view out on the upper porch swings. Wander into the
historic lobby, browse through Colorado and Western crafts showcased in the
gift shop, and unwind in a rocker by our circular fireplace.
The Lodge has plenty of activities to offer too! Our property borders the National Park on three sides and accesses trails for hiking and horseback riding. Miles of Colorado backcountry await you. Fishing, boating, golf, tennis, mountain biking, and white water rafting are readily available.

The
Grand Lake Lodge has been owned and operated by four generations of
the James family, since 1953.

Lodge guest accommodations are private cabins located in the pines above the Main Lodge. Combining modern conveniences with rustic ambiance, our cabins are clean and comfortable. We feature the Elk Lodge and Ford Cabin for larger parties. Our heated pool, playground, recreation room, picnic area, and volleyball/basketball court are available to overnight guests. Cabins prices are at reasonable resort rates.
The
Grand Lake Lodge offers a variety of unique Special
Event menus, full catering services, and sites that are both private and
panoramic. This outdoor, high country experience is perfect for any
retreat. The Mountainside Barbecue Area, Front Lawn and decks, Nuptial
Knoll, and two adjoining meeting rooms are ideal for company outings, family
reunions, weddings and receptions, or any special occasions.
